At the age of five, Annette Moeller began studying violin in the Suzuki method. While in elementary school she also studied fiddle and bluegrass styles. Annette traveled for many years competing in and winning fiddle and talent competitions throughout Illinois. She spent her teenage years as a part of many youth orchestras and chamber groups, including The Sangamon Valley Youth Symphony.
Moeller received her Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Performance from Webster University in 2017. There she had the opportunity to study under accomplished instructors Alison Rolf and Heidi Harris, among others.
While still performing regularly, Annette considers teaching her full-time profession and passion. Mainly using the Suzuki method, she puts a strong emphasis on aural and sight reading skills from the beginning. Annette believes no two students are the same and that each deserves instruction tailored to meet their unique needs.
